Ariza retakes the Retired Chess crown.

After to played two finals where Álvaro won both, Ariza retakes the crown in an exciting tournament of September 2010 Open Retired Chess.

Three strong players played the final. They were Ariza, Alvaro and Juan Beltrán.

In this tournament, Spanish had his revenge, he predominated over Colombians, hence the crown is travelling to Malaga again.

49 players of 15 countries have taken part of this tournament. Most of them are spanish speaking people but, also, there were people from Japan, Romania and Morocco. Greetings to our friends around the world who take part of our events.

Next July, a new tournament of retired chess will begin, and the new champion will have to confirm his crown.

Congratulations, again, to the champion and runner-ups for their perfomances and all who enjoy play in Opengames every day.
